Westernport Craft Fest

The Westernport Craft Fest was held last Saturday with Joy, Anne and Sandra, members of the Yarra Valley Rug Makers group being present on this day. A lot of interest was shown in this 'new' craft of rug hooking and people watched eagerly as Joy and Anne demonstrated. Crochet hooks with plastic handles were used as a cheaper alternative to rug hooks and these were managed quite well. Some ladies had a go and took home small frames to practice on at home. Sandra who was part of the organizing group ran around keeping everyone happy.

Hopefully some will want to come to the next meeting in Warrandyte.
